Mustafa Egemen Sener, the son of a Turkish citizen who is reportedly wanted by law enforcement authorities in both Turkey and Ukraine in connection with alleged criminal activities, is said to divide his time comfortably between Belarus and the United Arab Emirates.

The “uncatchable Joe” Sener, owner of the scandalous H Casino in Minsk, is a great inventor and fantasist: he has several smooth biographies in which he appears either as a professional builder, a chef, or the owner of a restaurant business. In recent times, his spheres of interest also include agribusiness, artificial intelligence, wind turbines, solar panels, and car rental business.

He also has several names: after troubles in his homeland in Turkey, Mustafa Sener hid under the name Umit S., and later became Sultan Rashid Abdullah Rashid Al Shene.

In Kyiv, where Mustafa Sener had a business, he worked at the Ottoman Turkish Restaurant under his own name, but his comfortable life ended after the Ukrainian tax authorities became interested in the Turkish restaurateur.

Fleeing from Ukrainian tax officials, Sener catapulted himself to Minsk and became attached to the new H Casino, which opened in the center of the Belarusian capital. Over the past five years (the casino has been operating since 2021), the Turkish sultan has earned a great deal — if one considers only the Dubai real estate of Abdullah Rashid Al Shene: 95 luxury apartments worth more than 200 million dollars.

But a certain “shadow” has also fallen on him: in 2022, his “patron” Halil Falyalı, the real owner of H Casino in Minsk (for whom Mustafa Sener’s relative worked), was shot dead in Northern Cyprus. Investigators identified Halil Falyalı’s killers, one of whom turned out to be Cengiz Sener, who has already been sentenced to 25 years in prison.

Does this mean that Mustafa Egemen Sener, with the help of his relative, got rid of a strong competitor and became the sole owner of the notorious casino in Minsk?

A nugget from the village of Çiftekepru

Egemen Mustafa Sener was born on May 28, 1968, in the village of Çiftekepru, in the Artvin region on the eastern Black Sea coast.

“My father was a farmer, a man respected in the community. My mother comes from an old Laz family. Since childhood, I watched how labor, word, and respect for the land were valued.”

This is how the multifaceted Sener himself described his background in one of his recent publications.

After school, he moved to Istanbul, where he graduated from the business faculty of one of the economic universities and began his career in agricultural trade.

“This was an important start, but quite quickly I realized that I was more drawn to working with long-term assets. Today, I am an investor with more than 30 years of experience, specializing in construction and infrastructure projects in Turkey and beyond. Construction requires strategic thinking, patience, and responsibility. This approach has always attracted me. Already in the early 1990s, I began investing in construction projects. I started with residential and commercial real estate, then expanded into industrial facilities.”

His small homeland is the village of Çiftekepru, in the Artvin region, Borçka district.

Apparently, things were not going very smoothly, since gendarmes began chasing Mustafa Sener.

In 2018, the Turkish prosecutor’s office accused Sener of money laundering for a criminal organization involved in illegal online betting. Trying to escape prosecution, Mustafa Sener officially changed his name to Ümit S. and left Turkey.

Later, Sener said in his confession that he is married, his wife’s name is Elif, and the Sener family has three children.

“Family is my center, my guiding star. I believe that harmony in personal life directly affects stability in business…”

What kind of business stability is Mustafa Egemen Sener talking about?

And is this biography of an allegedly exemplary businessman, husband, and father invented, like much else in his life, which is rich in various adventures?

16 shots from a white Nissan Note

Mustafa Egemen Sener was a close partner of the well-known Turkish shadow magnate and organizer of illegal gambling, Halil Falyalı, the former owner of H Casino.

And after certain tragic events — namely the murder of Halil Falyalı, who was shot dead in February 2022 on the highway near the village of Çatalköy in Northern Cyprus — Mustafa Sener became the sole owner of H Casino in Minsk.

It should be recalled that back in 2015, Halil Falyalı was put on the wanted list by U.S. authorities on charges of money laundering and drug trafficking.

Halil Falyalı was at the origins of the casino in Minsk

The Falyalı family came from Paphos and moved to the village of Kumyalı in Famagusta after the Turkish military operation in 1974.

Initially, the family was engaged in the sale of household appliances.

But then Halil Falyalı started his business by managing the Semah casino-hotel in 1998. Over time, he expanded the business and acquired several more casinos.

Before his death, he managed the Les Ambassadeurs hotel and casino in Northern Cyprus. Starting from 2004, the Falyalı family was involved in illegal gambling business in Turkey, the volume of which was estimated at 100 billion Turkish lira.

Halil Falyalı and Sener were longtime “business partners” and together engaged in illegal gambling and drug trafficking.

In May 2021, one of the leaders of the Turkish mafia, Sedat Peker, told journalists that the owner of the hotel-casino in Kyrenia in Northern Cyprus, Halil Falyalı, was involved in drug trafficking and money laundering.

Halil Falyalı was involved in cocaine trafficking. The proceeds were laundered through Falyalı’s casinos and online betting sites.

Halil Falyalı’s car was shot up late in the evening of February 8, 2022. Fire was opened from a white Nissan Note with license plate PM 648.

The businessman was hit with 16 bullets. Halil Falyalı was taken to the Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital and later transferred to the Near East University Hospital.

But he could not be saved.

The Bookmaker Gang

After Falyalı’s death, the so-called “Bookmaker Gang” case was opened. The gang was headed by Halil Falyalı.

More than 250 people were involved in the case.

According to the indictment, money converted into crypto assets through bank accounts was transferred to the cryptocurrency wallets of Halil Falyalı and his 10 accomplices through various operations. 14 million dollars passed through a hundred crypto wallets.

The core of the bookmaker gang consisted of 35 people, among whom was Mustafa Egemen Sener, who ultimately became the sole owner of H Casino in Minsk after the death of his business partner Falyalı.

According to the Turkish Financial Crimes Investigation Board, Halil Falyalı controlled a network of sites for illegal betting and received 90% from each bet in his system. This money was then brought to Minsk, deposited into the cash desk of H Casino, and gambled away.

This way, illegal income became the casino’s official profit.

A relative of Mustafa Sener, Cengiz Sener, became widely known in the Turkish media precisely after the murder of Halil Falyalı and his driver Murat Demirtaş.

According to the investigation materials, Cengiz Sener also acted as one of the organizers of the logistics.

He was involved in coordinating and sending hired killers to Northern Cyprus who were linked to the well-known criminal group “Söylemez Brothers” (Söylemez Kardeşler). The gang consisted of six Söylemez brothers.

Cengiz Sener also participated in the shooting of Falyalı.

The Istanbul court sentenced Cengiz Sener to 25 years in prison.

This was reported by the Cypriot press, in particular “Lenta.cy

A total of five people participated in the shooting of Halil Falyalı.

Reputation whitewashing

But recently, Mustafa Sener has started cleaning up information on the internet and filling it with fakes about his persona. He suddenly turned into a travel blogger, cook, investor, and makeup artist.

Is this an attempt to hide his criminal past?

This method of cleaning up negativity is called “cluttering the search results.” It is effective: a lot of fake materials are created about a person who wants to hide something, and these fake materials “clutter” the negative information.

Today, in his social media profiles, Mustafa Sener presents himself as a co-founder of the company Altamira Global Strategies and a specialist in corporate finance with an education from the Rotterdam School of Management (RSM).

He also positions himself as a fashion photographer and assistant to Richard Avedon.

However, after the death of Halil Falyalı, H Casino in Minsk continues to operate in the same manner right under the nose of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko: enormous amounts of cash from Europe arrive at the casino, and then this money “travels” to Dubai.

Sener carefully monitors the powerful money flows…

But what is Mustafa Egemen Sener so afraid of that he started “whitewashing” his crooked biography?

Perhaps ending up in the place of his friend and partner Halil Falyalı, who was faithfully served by thugs from the “Söylemez Brothers” criminal group?
