The Security Service of Ukraine is investigating a criminal proceeding regarding the illegal supply of Ukrainian grain to Iran in circumvention of sanctions restrictions.

According to the investigation, this activity is an element of a scheme for settlements between the Russian Federation and Iranian residents for the supply of Shahed-type attack UAVs through controlled commercial structures.

UP has reviewed two rulings of the Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv.

At the beginning of June, the court authorized the SSU to conduct searches of two figures in the case.

The pre-trial investigation in proceeding No. 42022000000001635 dated November 17, 2022, is being conducted by the Main Investigation Department of the SSU under the supervision of the Office of the Prosecutor General. The actions are qualified, among other things, under articles on complicity with the aggressor state and complicity in waging an aggressive war.

According to the investigation, Russian citizen Vazha Dzhashi, through controlled companies, established the supply of Ukrainian grain to Iran and involved officials of LLC “Ledesma Agro” in the scheme, who shipped grain from September 2025 to March 2026.

To conceal the route, Turkish ports were indicated in the shipping documents, while the cargo actually went to Iran.

As an example, the ruling cites the vessel XIN YU (Bulk Carrier, IMO 9244362, Chinese flag), which was supposed to deliver 9,980 tons of Ukrainian barley to Turkey.

According to the investigation, citing the ship’s logbook, it bypassed Turkish ports, anchored on the roadstead off the Iranian coast on November 13, 2025, and remained there until January 3, 2026, after which it entered the port for unloading.

The logbook itself, which UP reviewed, records the vessel’s presence in early January 2026 at berth No. 18 of the Bandar Imam Khomeini port — the coordinates correspond to the Iranian port.

As part of the investigation, on June 3 the court authorized a search of a house in Dnipro used by the head and beneficiary of “Ledesma Agro” Artur Zolotarevskyi (partially granted), and on June 5 — at a house in Kozyn in the Kyiv region where another beneficiary of the company, lawyer Oleksandr Chornyi, resides.

Artur Zolotarevskyi is a Ukrainian agricultural manager and investor, director of LLC “Ledesma Agro” since November 2024. In the public space, he previously appeared as the founder of the company “Menora Agro”, which in 2020 attracted attention with an attempt to introduce a digital crop accounting system.

In April 2025, in an interview with Latifundist, Zolotarevskyi stated that he has been working in agribusiness for more than ten years, and this year he gave an interview to Delo.ua as CEO of “Ledesma Agro”.

Oleksandr Chornyi is a lawyer registered in the Unified Register of Lawyers of Ukraine and one of the beneficiaries of LLC “Ledesma Agro”. In public profiles, he positions himself as a co-founder of the investment platforms “Dobrozem” and Zeminvest, which specialize in operations with agricultural land.

After the opening of the land market in 2021, Chornyi regularly appeared in the media and at specialized events as an expert on investments in land assets.

According to YouControl, LLC “Ledesma Agro” is part of a network of interconnected companies that are likely part of the orbit of the TAS group.

Among the co-owners and affiliated structures of LLC “Ledesma Agro” are JSC ZNVKIF “First Land Investment Fund”, JSC ZNVKIF “Agricultural Investment Fund”, LLC “TAS Asset Management”, LLC “Zem Invest”, and the “Dobrozem” platform.

Some of them are registered at the same address in Kyiv — 15-A Leipzigska Street; the court ruling also indicates this address as the legal address for “Ledesma Agro”.
