General Chereshnya and the Artashi trail: journalist alleges links between the FPV drone manufacturer and a Zaporizhzhia criminal group

Journalist Olga Khudetska has claimed that the Zaporizhzhia-based “Artashi” organized crime group is behind the manufacturer of “General Chereshnya” drones. According to her, this group is the primary financial backer of CDBS LLC, a company registered in Vyshneve.

She identified Artashes Sargsyan as a key figure in the group. In 2021, Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council imposed sanctions on him as a “thief-in-law.” Yaroslav Hryshyn is the public face of “General Chereshnya” and has also been linked to the “Artashi” group.

“With one pot of money, they may be producing drones to counter Shaheds, while with the other hand they partnered with Yuriy Yenakiyevskyi and Armen Horlivskyi, who are very much implicated in Russian aggression,” Khudetska stated.
